Daniel Lustig was born and raised in San José, Costa Rica. At age 15, Daniel moved to Palm Beach County where he graduated from John I. Leonard High School. Daniel attended Florida Atlantic University, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice and a certificate in Ethnic Studies. As a student at Florida Atlantic University, Daniel was named to the Dean’s List and was invited to join the National Political Science Honor Society. Daniel then attended Florida State University, where he earned a Masters of Science in International Affairs with a concentration in International Political Economy. After earning his Master's degree, Daniel then attended Franklin Pierce Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree and a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Daniel was a member and later a coach of the school’s International Commercial Arbitration team and the President of the Pierce Law Hispanic National Bar Association for two years. At Pierce Law Center, Daniel worked representing low income clients as a New Hampshire Supreme Court certified student attorney in commercial and criminal law matters, at both the Consumer Law Clinic and the Criminal Practice Clinic. While in New Hampshire, Daniel also served as a Spanish-English court interpreter. During his last year of law school, Daniel interned at Lott & Friedland, P.A. in Coral Gables, Florida, where Daniel gained substantial federal litigation experience while assisting the partners in a complex commercial litigation case involving The Trump Towers. Later, Daniel clerked for The Law Offices of John B. Schulte, staff counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and he assisted attorneys in all phases of case development, litigation and the appellate process in personal injury, products liability, premises liability and workers compensation cases. Daniel is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Palm Beach County Justice Association and a board member at the Puerto Rican/Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
